I thought I'd post share my local scrapbook store! Scrapaganza recently moved into a larger storefront and now they have even more room for product and crop/class space. They have a great blog too: Scrapaganza Blog.
Check out the classes they are having in April! Wendy Vecchi is coming to teach 3 classes and it will be awesome! Funky flowers with grunge paper, a mini book and a fragments journal. I'm taking the flowers and journal classes. Can't wait! Wendy is a designer for Stampers Anonymous and Maya Road and a Ranger Demonstrator.
I crop almost every friday at Scrapaganza, when they have their crops scheduled. And when I can, I like to just go and crop on my own there to get away from distractions!
And it's nice to see a scrappy store thriving!

Breathe
Here's a new card I did with inspiration from Dawn's Inspirational Card Sketch blog, sketch #8. It's funny how sometimes I draw a complete blank on a sketch, then suddenly while I'm working on something completely different, suddenly inspiration strikes.
This card feels very "zen" to me, so I will probably send it to someone who's really stressed. I stamped a whole sheet of cardstock (12x12) and will be making more cards to use up the stamped cardstock. I also got a layout using some of the stamped cardstock. Actually, that's what I had originally been working on. Layout is below. :) Stamps are by inkadinkado, ribbon by EK, breathe charm by Tim Holtz.

Oh, and aren't the colors of the cardstock on the card yummy? I found this pack of cardstock at Big Lots, the company is "Nature Preserve" and this is the yellowstone collection. The pack has 5 different earthy colors and I'm quite taken with them. Normally I find neutrals... well... neutral. I'm not a neutral sort of gal. I like colors. But these are lovely. Oh, and the paper is 100% recycled. Awesome! I bought the only two packs left on the shelf.
This is a pretty simple layout. Not what I had planned to do with these pictures at all. But it's okay. The picture on the bottom right is one of my all-time favorites of my son at this age. It's like he's doing T'ai Chi play... know what I mean? :D

Thank you card
Yay, I got Dawn's Inspirational Card Sketch #7 - inspired card done early this week AND am getting it on my blog before the last possible minute.
I'm considering making a "set" of cards using the same color scheme and printed papers, so this is the second card, last week's being the first. I might give these cards as a gift later.... We'll see if I make more or if next week I decide I'm tired of these colors. lol
Oh, and I've never done this size card before. Mostly because I'd been sticking with the standard half-sheet size. I thought I'd start breaking out of my box here. lol
Here it is.

Thanks for looking!

Grateful Card
Whoa, I very nearly forgot to get this card done in time for Dawn's Inspirational Card Sketch of the week! This one is sketch #6.
Since I won the blog candy last week, I thought I'd use something from the stuff she sent me. :) This is my take on the sketch, using one of her handmade flowers that she sent me! Woo!

I'm lucky!
I won some blog candy from Inspirational Card Sketches! Dawn plans to offer blog candy every week but to get your name in you have to create a card inspired by her sketch, and link it to her blog. Hop over there and try! You could win too! and you'll have a pretty new card that you made!
Here's what I won! Dawn made the flowers herself, which is so awesome!
