Back in April I took a couple classes with
Wendy Vecchi, an AWESOME artist. She has her own line of stamps,
Studio 490, and designs for Maya Road, Tim Holtz and is a Ranger certified educator! I love her work and since I took the classes, I have tried to practice what I learned. I'm no where near the creative goddess Wendy is, but I'm sure having fun exploring the techniques I learned from her.
My first projects that I did on my own and not at her class was to make 5 ATC's using the funky flower techniques I learned from Wendy. Of course, I did not yet own any Studio490 stamps and I had to use the scraps of grungeboard and grungepaper left over from her class, but I still did them! I also used Tim Holtz Fragments, which Wendy also taught us about. These ATC cards were made for a swap over at
Scrapbook Dreamer.
Just tonight I made a birthday card for a DT Call over at
Inspirational Card Sketches. I love the flowers I made but I'm still not sure about the card as a whole, but hey, it's all about the journey of learning right? :) Anyway, someone is getting a big fat birthday card in the mail sometime soon. LOL
I have more projects in mind! So I hope to be posting them soon.
Thanks for looking!
