Crop Paper Scissors!

My friends and I have been cropping together a lot! So I created this simple page design for those that wanted a kit to put together to showcase our cropping pictures. :)

The title and scissors come from the Cricut Everyday cartridge (a Cricut Circle Exlusive), and the glue bottle comes from Nate's ABCs cartridge.

Wet and Wild

I created this layout last Saturday while cropping!  I took the photos at the Oklahoma City Zoo with my iphone's Instagram, and used a filter on it. I really liked the effect!

This is a "use your stash" layout. Old Bo Bunny I found in my stash. Loved the papers, and wanted to get it all used up. I misted the kraft cardstock background.

Unfortunately I can't remember where I got the scallop rectangle (in green, center). I am pretty sure I welded two scallop squares or rectangles together on my gypsy to get the right size. The banners come from either Art Philosophy or the cricut digital image from Party Pennants.

a boy's life

When my son came over to my desk and looked at me through this owl mask that he had just colored, I HAD to snap a picture as fast as I could... before he decided he didn't want a picture taken! Those eyes! That awesome job coloring (this was the first time I'd seen such coordinated coloring)

The layout is simple, but really the photo is what I want to be center stage here. Though I was very pleased to use one of the Charlene's Button Box owl buttons I'd been hoard...I mean saving for a special occasion. ;)

Use the stash! - Produce Auction

I have been trying to use up my stash! So at a crop I pulled out some leftover Jillibean and used up as much as I could on this layout. I really liked the result! I think I used a sketch to inspire me but I think the sketch came from a book also in my stash, not a website. I'm also trying to use up what few packages of letter stickers I have left, so my title is from older Thickers.

A Love Like This

This is a page I designed as a kit for friends. My favorite color combo is red, white and black. My wedding also happened to be dark red, white and black. :)

Butterflies are from: Everyday Pop-up Cards, Hanna Montana, Art Philosophy, and Picturesque.
Title is from Beyond Birthdays (love) and Wall Decor and More (the rest).

The half circle is from Independence Day.

The layout is very dimensional with the tulle at the top and the butterflies pop-dotted over that. What wasn't included in the kit were the couple of Charlene's Button Box heart buttons that I added after I put my pictures on the layout. :)

cricut with the kiddo

My kiddo saw pictures of these skeletons from the Cricut Craft Room digital cut images from Moveable Monsters and he HAD to have one.  And his skeleton HAD to have an army hat. So it's Private Skelly :)

Excuse the messy room, the kiddo plays there. LOL

The skeleton is cut at 11" and the hat is from Stand and Salute, cut at 6.30 (on my gypsy)

Tailor Made card

Hello all!  I decided to make a card today. There were a couple challenges I wanted to complete so this is the result. :)  The challenges I wanted to do were Enfy's August "girly card" challenge over at Going Buggy.  I used the card sketch challenge over at Stuck On U Sketches!

I used MME Lush papers, Cosmo Cricket mini alphas, French Manor for the dress form, seam binding ribbon dyed with Antique Linen Distress Stain, a blue ribbon, some pearls, a Tim Holtz embossing folder, and Billionaire for the welded words "tailor made". The card is 5x7, as I wanted plenty of room for everything.

I left the inside blank so it could be used for anything; a romantic card or a card for a best friend. :)

Thanks for looking!

Hope (autumn)

This page is not my design :)  The owner of the scrapbook store I worked at designed this kit for a big crop we had way back, and I loved it. But the kits were all gone and I didn't get one. Well this kit turned up in a scrappy "garage sale" table and I snatched it up quick as I could.

I like using kits like this to get me started scrapbooking at a crop, you know to get in the mood. :) They are easy to put together and help to get me "moving". By the time I'm done, my creative juices are usually flowing and I'm ready to come up with my own work.  Once I got done with this, I added some "Diamond" stickles to the die cut birds as they were a very plain brown. It made the birds look coppery! Love stickles!

Do you like to use page kits?
