30 Days of Creativity - Day 19 Family art tray

I made this as a gift for grandma for the holidays this year. That's one down, several more to go. I've vowed to make some gifts this year and I am GOING to do it!  Anyway, this is my first such tray. I think I'd rather do one that has bigger spaces. This was the only one available at the time and it's nice, but it was very hard to work in such small spaces.

I used a couple sheets of paper from the Girls Paperie line that is the Scrappinista Scrapbook Club kit this month at Scrapaganza, but nearly all the embellishments are from my stash.

30 Days of Creativity - Day 18 Carving Pumpkins

This is my last scrapbook page for the Scrappinista Club kit for Scrapaganza! I've done another project with the kit but this is the last page. I'll post a pic of the project later. :) This was a LONG time ago! lol

30 Days of Creativity - Day 17 Good Fairy

Here's another layout from the kit from Scrapaganza's Scrappinista club. This layout pulled some stuff from my stash, but not a lot. I used my cricut to cut the circles that I glued around as a border. I noticed when I edited this photo that my borders are not perfectly straight! oh well. :)

I love this idea of being creative every single day, but I realize now that I can't get one of these projects done in a day. So my "30 Days of Creativity" is taking twice as long to complete. :(  Oh well, that's how I roll I guess.

30 Days of Creativity - Day 16 Digging for Dragons

Hello!  Here's the layout I worked on first this weekend, but only just finished today. This is also from the SSC kit (see previous post) and this layout uses ONLY The Girls Paperie papers and stickers from the Toil and Trouble line. This are pictures from April though, not Halloween pics! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

30 Days of Creativity - Day 15 Off to the Parade

It's the beginning of the month, and that means I'm working on Design Team stuff for Scrapaganza! This month's Scrappinista Scrapbooking Kit is the girls' paperie Toil and Trouble line of papers and embellishments. I L.O.V.E. this line!

One of the nice things about this line is that you don't *have* to scrapbook halloween costumes. Because face it, not everyone has those pictures. This line is versatile, very versatile. Of course, the layout above is halloween because well... I have lots of pics. LOL!  I actually worked on a non-halloween layout first, but it's not finished yet, so I will post that soon!

LOVE that charm! They come in a package of 6, and 3 are halloweenish, and 3 are more generic. The rosette is also a line embellishment. Not only is it good for pages, but the 6 in the package would have been good for halloween card sentiments.

I'm big into the mists right now, and I can't use kraft paper without misting it. So I used my cricut to cut some bat shapes out of the middle of a 12x12 sheet of thin chipboard, and put it over the kraft paper, then misted with charcoal chalkboard glimmermist. The bats that were cut out of the chipboard were also sprayed till they were covered and I used a couple of them as embellishments.

Thanks for looking!

30 Days of Creativity - Day 5 Sisters

Well I was up till 3:30am last night crafting! Sometimes I get on that roll and can't stop or I lose momentum. Anyway, since I finished this after midnight, I'm counting it as todays project! LOL  The final DT layout I've done for this month's Scrappinista kit from Scrapaganza.

Thanks for looking! Off to spend the day hanging out with my kid!

30 Days of Creativity - Day 4 Mary Mary

Mary Mary Quite Contrary how does your garden grow?
Well here's the scrapbook pages I made yesterdays flowers for. The supplies are from this month's Scrappinista Scrapbook Club (you local gals get a sneak peak!) and the flowers that I used to make my new flower embellishments were from my stash, old prima and Kaiser paper flowers. I have a billion of them but I love this technique and hopefully I can use a bunch of them up this way!

The pictures are from my stepmom's (Mary) garden last november. I had a brand spanking new camera and a burning desire to learn how to take awesome pictures. So I explored her garden, which was surprisingly rich in things to photograph, in November!

You can still join in the 30 days of creativity! Start your day 1 right now! Check out Kendra's or Michelle's blogs for details. See my post below for how I made the flowers on this layout, both the big ones and the little ones were made with the same technique.

30 Days of Creativity - Day 1 Our House

Kendra Wiggens and Michelle Van Etten have decided to challenge themselves to be creative 30 days. They've invited everyone to join them, so click on their names to go to their blogs to let them know you want to participate!

Here is my first day project. I know Kendra and Michelle are a little further on but I only saw the challenge this morning and just joined in. So for me, today is day 1!

I used the new Echo Park paper company line called "Life is Good" for this layout. If you are local to the Quad Cities, this line of papers is the Scrappinista Scrapbook Club kit for September at Scrapaganza, so give them a call if you want to join in!
