Well here's another layout from the Bo Bunny collection from my stash. I also found these acrylic embellishments printed with paisleys and the word "dream". I think they might be from an old Prima collection that I'd used up but hadn't used these embellishments. Their colors went perfectly with the papers so I had to use them. I think the colors of the papers went really well with the belly dancer's costumes.

So, once I was finally back in the mood to think up pages, I pulled out an old collection of Bo Bunny papers. I bought them a LONG time ago! and I forgot to look at the name of the collection on the manufacturer strip. Loved the colors. :) I still have a lot of it left, since many of the papers I bought 2 of each.

When I was getting ready to write up this post, I realized I've forgotten to add the title. LOL  so now  I have to remember to put the title on before I stick it in an album. 

My friends and I were celebrating a new baby, he's a cutie. :)

I really really love these papers from the Bo Bunny Winter Woodland collection. The colors were perfect for these pictures. I'm glad I bought the chipboard sticker sheet as well, I used as many as I could. :)

Bald Eagle Days

Welcome!

I have been trying for the last few years to use up my stash. But now and then I go into the scrapbook store and I see a collection that's new to me, and I am in love. I found this winter collection from Bo Bunny (I {heart} Bo Bunny!), the Woodland Winter collection.  I did not buy the whole collection, I managed to restrain myself! But I did buy enough for a few layouts. :)  I love the colors, the blues and browns.

Bald Eagle Days happen in January here. The Bald Eagles migrate here from Canada and stay for the winter, because they can fish the Mississippi river. So there's a big expo where we can see rehabilitating birds of prey, the kids can do activities and local organizations can show what they have. We try to go every year, it's fun. :)

Almost Time

Here's another use your stash layout! The background paper is from Kaiser, and I used all sorts of embellishments from my stash. Chipboard swirl, a transluscent clock (I think from Maya Road?), bling brads from BoBunny, glittered chip bird I think from K&Co, some ephemera that is possibly from 7gypsies, a felt scallop border, a doily, a heart button from Charlene's Button Box...

The picture is from a little over a week before I gave birth, so it's perhaps the only pic of me at my preggo hugeness. LOL  Normally I'm not fond of the one-photo layouts but sometimes that's all you have! Work with what you got, right?

Knight in Shining Armor

I don't always design my own pages. I occasionally buy kits. I like to use kits when I first get to a crop and need to "get in the groove" or toward the end of a long crop when I'm not ready to quit but don't have a lot of time left to come up with something but don't want to quit too early either... so pull out a kit!  I bought this kit from my friend Irene, who has a kit business Little Masterpieces. I bought this one from her some time ago, and recently finished it. It uses BoBunny papers and embellishments.

The pictures are of my hubby on our wedding day. :)

My only worry is that I'm nearly out of kits!

Here's another layout I created with the Mamarazzi 2 line of papers from BoBunny. :) I also used a scrap of ribbon and some Jillibean letters. :)

This is a picture of a friend of mine who is a teacher at one of the schools I drive school bus for. I'm stopped at her school, and she didn't know I had my phone out ready to take her picture at my school bus door. :)

Steampunk Wedding

Here's another layout with Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante!

A friend of mine had a steampunk themed wedding back in May. It was lovely. Naturally, the G45 papers were perfect with this particular subject. :)

I also had some chipboard wings from a sizzix die that I cut a few years ago when I worked at the LSS. I used Distress Stain to color them, then inked the edges. I also had some gears... Prima I think. And some Bo Bunny brads. :)  I did cut some mini book pages for the flip book of extra photos in the bottom corner. I'm pretty sure the pages came from one of the CTMH cricut cartridges, Art Philosophy maybe? Anyway,

Steampunk Adventurers

Hello!

Today I have a layout I made with the Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante collection.

The pictures are from the last science fiction convention we went to. We wanted to participate in the steampunk activities that were going on, so we created some costumes and had a lot of fun. :)

I love this line of papers. I used primarily the G45 papers and cut out a lot of the tags and pictures. I also used a flower stem I made for part of a flower stem swap I was in. There are also some brads from my stash that I think were Bo Bunny. And of course a button from Charlene's Button Box. :)  The gears border is from Paper Lace 2 (say what! awesome!)  I think the title font is Carousel but I'm not 100% sure.  I cut a straight banner and folded it so that it looks like an actual folded fabric banner. This mimics the sign we are holding in one of the pictures. I love G45!

Heritage Days

Here's the last layout I'm posting from cropping at Lorado. I forgot that this one also uses Mamarazzi 2.

We have a little "pioneer village" by our local county park, and they have events a couple times a year where volunteers dress up in period costumes and demo stuff like spinning, weaving, blacksmithing, and they even do a "gun fight".  :)

Most of the layout is made from Mamarazzi stash. The scallop border is made from 1.5 inch circles I punched out, inked the edges and layered to make the scallops.  The horse and carriage are from the Heritage cartridge, and the title was welded from Old West. I just LOVE the horse and carriage!

planetarium

Hi hi.
Here's another layout with the Mamarazzi 2 line made at the Lorado crop earlier this month.

My kid found out from his friend that our local planetarium was having an 'open house' that night, and I told him I wasn't sure we'd go, since I was feeling kind of tired that day. He went off and drew a picture of stars, planets and a telescope and told me "mom! this is how much I want to go!"  How can a mom resist that??? So we went. Of course you can't take pictures inside the planetarium or inside the telescope observatory that we visited (we saw saturn's rings). But there was also a geology museum that I did take pictures in.

I used mostly Mamarazzi 2 stash, but there's also a couple buttons from Charlene's Button Box, and a cricut cut dinosaur bone fossil from Dinosaur Tracks cartridge. I really love the colors of Mamarazzi 2.  I didn't use up all the collection yet, so I hope to finish using it up at the next crop I go to.

play silk day

Greetings! bonus post!!!  :)

Here's a quickie page I made. LOOK!  my subject is a boy.... and I have flowers on the patterned paper! I personally do not think it looks overly girly.  Besides, my son still likes flowers. So there. :P  The pictures are from a Waldorf Homeschool day at a friend's house where we dyed silks for the kids to play with (for making forts or using as capes). Our silk is dyed with turmeric! It came out a gorgeous shade of sunny yellow!

Anyway, the background paper is Bo Bunny. I cut some pennants and ran them through embossing folders in a couple patterns. There's a few stickers from JilliBean Soup from my stash.

Lorado

Well Hello again!

Here's another layout I made at the Lorado crop earlier this month. I used more Mamarazzi 2 stash!

The pics are from the previous Lorado crop. My cropping buddies and I did a photo with mustaches from the digital CCR images from Mustaches and Glasses. I used the mustache stick from the photo for the layout.

One of my scrapping buddies handed me the sketch from a kit she made, and I used it to inspire this layout. :)

First Tooth

Here's another layout done at the Lorado crop. This one was also made with Mamarazzi 2.

I think the photos are self-explanatory. LOL

I used more polaroid frames cut from Brooklyn. Unfortunately I don't remember what cartridge I got the "first tooth" cut from! But that little white tooth also came from the same place.  I also used a button from Charlene's Button Box.  The rest is all Mamarazzi stash!

Cockatoo

Hi all!

Here's the next installment of Lorado crop pages. :)

The next paper collection I pulled out to work with is the Mamarazzi 2 collection from Bo Bunny. I LOVED the first Mamarazzi.  So of course I bought all the papers from this line months ago when it came out. I know... I'm supposed to be using stash, but every once in a while I need to buy something really cool.

One of my coworkers brought one of her rehab Cockatoos into the bus lot, and she was really a sweet bird!

The arrows were made with a leftover cut negative that I saved after cutting out arrows for a different layout. I used Distress Stain to ink in the arrows. The arrows are from the Boho cricut cartridge. I also cut out a polaroid frame from the Brooklyn cartridge. Other than a button made by Charlene's Button Box, a Kaiser filmstrip rub on, everything else is from the Mamarazzi line.

Long Beautiful Hair

I apologize for the awful picture of this layout.  I've already put the layout in the books so I couldn't retake it without fuss.

I didn't take my cricut to the crop where I did this, so I had to use all stash! I don't think I've used store-bought flowers in AGES! LOL   The papers are Bobunny, the flowers are bazzill, Kaiser and other paper flowers I had.

All of us in the pictures are wearing wigs. It's a sort of joke gift we did for a co-worker, who had cancer. We all took pictures in wigs (she had to wear a wig due to treatments) and gave her a photo gift with us acting silly in the wigs.  She loved it.

Simple Joys ... my dancers

Hello all!
Here's another layout for my "use your stash!" challenge. I used a line of BoBunny papers.

These photos are from a group shot of me and my dancers at one of our performances. After the show, we "crashed" another dancer's birthday party and danced for her too. :)

I purposely did not take my cricut with me to the crop that I did this layout at, so that I would use more stuff from my stash. I ended up using one of the flower sprays from the flower spray swap that I participated in a while back. I wasn't digging any of the letter stickers I had so as I was looking through my stash I came across this "simple joys" embellishment that I had made when I first got my Cricut Imagine a couple years ago. The colors went well and though it wasn't quite the title I was looking for, back in the day that I took these pictures, my life was constantly about belly dance... so it was simply a joy for me... so I made it work for my title. ;)  And of course I used a Charlene's Button Box butterfly button.

missing dad

Hi scrappy friends!
Here's the last layout I've made with the BoBunny line that I've been working with.  So this is a "use your stash!" page. :)

These are the second to last pictures taken of my dad before he passed away...

I used a cricut to cut the scallop oval shape, but I can't remember exactly which cartridge it came from. There's another yellow oval there, and it is a crocheted oval that someone was making for Scrapaganza back when it was open. It's been in my stash for a while so I thought I'd try using it. I've also used some white flourishes, some off white little flowers, and I punched some circles from scraps and folded them in the dahlia fold to make "flowers".  There are also a few random brads, a Charlene's Button Box leaf button, and a strip of ribbon. :)
