UP
Here's a page I did with Kaiser papers from my stash. Very simple, very little embellishment. The title and balloons were cut with my cricut. The orange border cut with a border punch. String for the balloon strings.... never seem to be able to use up that string! The balloons all have their edges inked to make sure they stand out from each other. I also used pop dots of different thicknesses, and adhered some of the balloons flat to the layout... I think this gives it a more 3-D look.
Of course, this is pictures from my son's first movie at the theater. :)

Cricut Class
This is a page I made last June, but never got around to posting. Used old Kaiser printed papers from my stash, as well as a bunch of flowers and bling for their centers, all from stash. The die cut background and title letters are from my cricut, which is appropriate since, the photos are of the very first Cricut class I taught at the scrapbook store I used to work for. It was a big deal for me, and I had a FULL class. I got a lot of wonderful feedback from the customers too. I really enjoyed teaching those classes, so I definitely wanted to scrap the page to remind me of those days.

A Big Deal
Greetings!
Old printed paper! Using my stash! lol
I used 3 different edge punches to punch my layered borders. All 3 had a similar design which makes the repeated punched pattern interesting. Everything else; alphas, rub-on, flower and bird button from Charlene's Button Box, are also from my old stash stuff. :)
The photo is from one of my first big crops, one held by the scrapbook store I later worked for. The theme was "I'm kind of a big deal". That store put on super awesome crops and I miss them! ah well. I least I could scrapbook it! lol

Happy New Year! and... Shine
Hello! it's been a while, eh? lol
So Happy New Year and all that. I realized I had a bunch.. a BUNCH of pages I had not posted here. So, here I am to catch up!
I know I've been using stash all year. I've tried to follow a personal rule of not buying any new scrapbook paper unless I'd used up at least 3 lines of printed papers first. I've been really good! So the paper used in this page is new to me, I'd bought it just a few weeks before making this page. But hey, I bought it, then I used it up!
This picture is from a homeschool activity day in which we made candles. I asked my son to let me take a picture of him and one of his candles, and he struck this pose! I messed with the filtering on the photo to get it to look a little more intense. I raided my stash for embellishments, and made the viewmaster disc on my cricut (a file I created on my gypsy) and threw together the page pretty quickly (for me, lol). The title is also cut from my cricut.
May your new year shine with all good things! :)

leaf decorating
Hey all! Here's a "use your stash" layout! Using up some fall BoBunny papers and embellishments from a few years ago. I just loved the colors of this line. My baby was 3 in this pictures (he's almost 7 now). He seems so little to me!

eagles
Greetings!
Here's another "use your stash" layout that I did with BoBunny's Mamarazzi 2.
My son likes me to take pictures of him doing random things. LOL Here he's playing with two eagle puppets that he loves. He comes up with some really imaginative stories, and I like to remember that.

another untitled...
Greetings!
Here's another untitled layout. I received the printed papers and ribbon as part of a goodie bag from a crop. Rather than putting it in my stash and forgetting about it for months/years, I decided to use it right away. The stuff was in my crop box but I didn't have pictures with me to use so I just went ahead with an idea I had. I got my idea from the Cricut Circle message board, a challenge to use a pattern that I really love. I am TOTALLY in love with wood grain patterns! I have stamps, embossing folders, misting stencils... and now the Artbooking cartridge has wood grain cuts on it. So I used the square wood grain cut and cut it so that I could have it on both sides of the die cut.
Lots of ribbon came with the papers, so I layered the tulle and brown and aqua ribbons across the pages, then added a flower spray I received in a swap. The final touch of a few handmade buttons from Charlene's Button Box and done! :) Now to find photos and add a title and journaling.
Have a great day!
