I love it when layouts kind of just make themselves, like this one did.

The papers in this layout are an old We R Memory Keepers line. I loved their stitched papers! The stitched "Family" paper saved me from coming up with a title. ;)  I used a punch to make the alternating scallop borders.

I used the CTMH cricut cartridge Art Philosophy and the chipboard banner pieces to make the banner covered in coordinating printed cardstock with a black scallop shadow, and tulle to hold it together.

The rest of the embellishments are mostly from the line of papers, though I did use some word stickers from K&Co, and some mini alphas.

Girlfriend

Greetings!

I actually make most of this layout when I realized almost all my Amy Tangerine collection was used up, and this stuff was all that was left. I made the layout base then stuck it in my workbox to find a picture for later. When I went to a crop last saturday, I pulled this out first and found a picture to put on it, and a couple embellishments from my stash and some thickers and viola! all done.

No cricut this time! just stuff from my stash.  The flower was punched out with a flower punch from a soda can. I made the flower years ago and left it in my stash. lol

Sarge Skeleton

Hello!
Here's a layout I made this past weekend. I finished using up this  line of paper from Kaiser Craft.

A while back Provocraft released some digital only files called "Movable Monsters" and then let us play with them for free. My son wanted the skeleton one, and we made it as big as I could, and fastened the parts with brads. My son loved it! He insisted we put a soldier hat on it, which I think I got from Stand and Salute.

For the layout, I used a skeleton from Happy Hauntings for the page, and the same soldier hat. :)

PS:  oh and I have to tell ya... a couple of my scrapping buddies got the Cameo. I've been kind of envious of their ability to cut anything they want with the software that came with it.  Then I remembered I had bought Make the Cut 3 years ago! So, I did some digging around and realized I had not updated my cricut... and now I have an older version of MTC set up on my laptop, and can cut to at least one of my cricuts with it! Woo Hoo!  Thanks to Okie, especially. :)

Family Gather

Greetings!
On a message board we have a weekend challenge to make a party related project.  These photos are from a July 4th party some of my family had a couple years ago. Most just family standing around or sitting and chatting. lol  but we did do karaoke! I scrapped those pictures separately. ;)

I used We R Memory Keepers paper line from several years ago, that was in my stash. Plus stash pom ribbon and stash flowers and bling. :)  The font used for "gather" is from the cricut cartridge Fontopia. :)

Wedding Reception

Hellooo all!

Here's another layout using Graphic 45 and pictures from my friend's steampunk themed wedding. These pictures were taken at the reception.

There were butterflies on the cake so even though they didn't look like the G45 butterflies, I thought it appropriate to use the butterflies in the paper with these pics. The wedding really was lovely. Everyone made their awesome costumes. Can you believe the bride made her cake? She works at the local supermarket bakery so I'm not as surprised. She didn't do all the decorating of it though, she had someone else do that.

Anyway... I used mostly the G45 Steampunk Debutante stash along with some ribbon, some flowers from my stash, some stick pins, and bling. The title was cut from Art Nouveau cricut cartridge.

Thank you for visiting!

Steampunk Wedding

Greetings!
Here's another layout with Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante!

A friend of mine had a steampunk themed wedding back in May. It was lovely. Naturally, the G45 papers were perfect with this particular subject. :)

I also had some chipboard wings from a sizzix die that I cut a few years ago when I worked at the LSS. I used Distress Stain to color them, then inked the edges. I also had some gears... Prima I think. And some Bo Bunny brads. :)  I did cut some mini book pages for the flip book of extra photos in the bottom corner. I'm pretty sure the pages came from one of the CTMH cricut cartridges, Art Philosophy maybe? Anyway,

thanks for stopping by. :)

Steampunk Adventurers

Hello!

Today I have a layout I made with the Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante collection.

The pictures are from the last science fiction convention we went to. We wanted to participate in the steampunk activities that were going on, so we created some costumes and had a lot of fun. :)

I love this line of papers. I used primarily the G45 papers and cut out a lot of the tags and pictures. I also used a flower stem I made for part of a flower stem swap I was in. There are also some brads from my stash that I think were Bo Bunny. And of course a button from Charlene's Button Box. :)  The gears border is from Paper Lace 2 (say what! awesome!)  I think the title font is Carousel but I'm not 100% sure.  I cut a straight banner and folded it so that it looks like an actual folded fabric banner. This mimics the sign we are holding in one of the pictures. I love G45!
